Why Buy the Selkirk Pro Line 2.0 Pickleball Bags from KISE (Singapore Guide)

Selkirk Pro Line 2.0 Tour pickleball backpack in Black

Most pickleball bags are really tennis bags or everyday backpacks with a paddle pocket stitched on. Selkirk's new Pro Line 2.0 range is different: it was designed from scratch around the gear pickleball players actually carry, and it's now available for pre-order in Singapore at KISE Pickleball. Here's what makes these bags worth the upgrade, which one suits your game, and why buying locally makes sense.

Two years of rethinking the pickleball bag

Selkirk spent close to two years developing Pro Line 2.0, surveying players, visiting courts and testing prototypes to find the small frustrations that come with carrying pickleball gear. The result is three all-new bags: the 25L Team Backpack, the 35L Tour Backpack and the 45L Duffle. Each one uses a tiered system that gives every piece of kit a dedicated home, so you stop digging around the bottom of your bag between games.

The features that actually matter on court

CourtAccess™ magnetic closure

The headline feature. Auto-aligning magnets let you leave the bag unzipped at the court while the opening stays covered, so you can swap paddles or grab a towel without fumbling with zips. When it's time to leave, a full zipper closes it up for the journey home.

Friction-Shield™ paddle sleeves

Modern raw-carbon paddle faces are gritty, and they shred ordinary bag linings. Pro Line 2.0 sleeves use a lining Selkirk designed and tested to resist that abrasion, with magnets keeping each paddle in place. The Team has two sleeves; the Tour and Duffle have four.

MagSlide™ ball pocket

On the backpacks, an external pocket lets you slide a ball out with one finger. The lid snaps shut on its own and folds flat when empty.

Built for Singapore weather

The shell is a double-PU-coated ripstop nylon with coated zips to keep out dust, wind and sudden rain, sitting on an abrasion-resistant TPU-coated base. That matters when you're putting your bag down on wet outdoor courts after an afternoon storm.

Which Pro Line 2.0 bag should you choose?

Team (25L) Tour (35L) Duffle (45L)
Best for Social and rec play Tournament days Multi-day events and travel
Paddle sleeves 2 4 4 (internal)
Shoe storage None Pull-out mesh pocket Ventilated internal chamber
16" laptop pocket Yes Yes No
KISE price S$249 S$299 S$199

Choose the Team if you head straight from work to the court with one or two paddles. It's compact and has a padded laptop sleeve, but no shoe compartment, so if you always carry court shoes, size up.

Choose the Tour if you play long sessions or tournaments. It carries a full day of kit, and the hidden mesh shoe pocket clips to the outside so shoes can air out on the ride home.

Choose the Duffle if you travel for tournaments in Malaysia, Thailand or further afield. It's the largest bag in the range, with a separate ventilated shoe chamber and a removable padded strap.

What players are saying

Early reviews on Selkirk's own store are strong, with the Tour and Duffle both averaging around 4.6 out of 5. Players mainly praise the storage layout, the side-access zip and how well the magnetic closures work. The most common criticism is about the Team Backpack's missing shoe compartment, which is why we recommend the Tour or Duffle if shoes go in your bag.

Why buy your Pro Line 2.0 bag from KISE?

You save on price and shipping

In the US, Selkirk lists the Tour at US$298, the Team at US$248 and the Duffle at US$198.
